so last night getting the tube back to my hostel a notice a comotion down the other end of a platform, a drunk japanese business man had fallen head first on to the tracks, 3 guys dived down and dragged him to the centre island between the tracks, luckily no trains were comming and the alarm went off and the trains were stopped but i dont really want to think if it had happened a few minutes later when a train had actrually been approaching.

Giant Whale in a Giant shopping centre.....
Japanese Subway, abit different as you can have shrimp if you want but they have a lack of sauces, ie no southwest
Yet another drunk Japanese guy telling us a joke in English that went on for about 10 minutes and still wasnt funny lol
Attempted photo of a downpour that lasted 10 minutes, still extremley humid though
Ill store, only in Japan
This is in Kyoto, its the old imperial palace where the Shogun lived
We went in but like most places you cant take photos, the main thing I remeber was that the floors squeaked so assasins would be unabale to sneak in to attack the Shogun
Tree
Palace Gardens
Some more of the Gardens

The mote which surrounds teh Palace
Elevated view of the grounds
This was in Umeda central Osaka, on the way to teh Umeda Sky Building, alot of new buildings are being constructed in the area and cranes are everywhere
The Umeda Sky Building from the bottom, sadly my batteries decided to run out after this and I didnt take my spare, il be going back again as the views were amazinga nd is only a 15minute walk from where im staying.
This was taken today, its Osaka's museum of art, behind it is the science museum, we are going back tomorrow as today was a public holiday so was closed. We met a Japanese woman who when I said spoke very good english replied she was an English teacher, so that explained it lol

We decided to walk to Osaka castle insted of getting the tube, on teh way all the trees has these husks of large insects of which I cant remember teh name.
They looked cool and I got to use the macro setting on my camera
This is what they came from, these things are about 2 inches long
This the first mote of two which surrounds Osaka castle

Tomorrow we are heading back to the museums, and ive been slowly reading the Akira manga, the set of 6 is in the hostel im in, its alot more detailed than the film, im basically up to where teh film ends yet im only on the 3rd book of 6.
Also half way though stir of echos, good book so far, Japanese tv is abit rubbish im reading alot more than usual.
Im heading back to Tokyo in the next couple of days to catch up on what I missed via the night bus to save money, also hope to climb fuji before I leave.

Osaka Aquarium

On one of my early days in Osaka we visited the Aquarium, which is supposedly the 2nd largest in the world. Tickets were abit expensive but we got a free ride on a the largest giant wheel in Japan thrown in. The Japanese seem to have a thing for ferris wheels as they are everywhere.

Outside the Aquarium
The early exhibits had mammals aswell as fish and reptiles, this Sloth just appeared out of nowhere and crawled from one side of the exhobit to the other, only got one photo as Sloths actually arent that slow.
Rather large Iguana basking on a log
Was watching the Penguins when about 4 guys came out to feed them
Fish
Octopus, I had to wait about 10 minutes to take this photo as 2 old Japanese ladies with their Nikons were taking a while.
Massive MantaRay, this thing was about 4/5m in Diameter
School of fish *hope you are enjoying my accurate descriptions*
Sea Turtle
Giant crab, it was as if I was on an episode of Deadliest Catch
The Main Ataction was this Whale Shark, you cant get a sense of scale but it was BIG
Then entered the Jelly fish exhibit, probably the better photos as the contrast in colours made them really bold.

Crazy SeaHorse
Worlds largest giant whell apparently
The view from the bottom

Then the top
